Choosing Masterveil
Under the guidance of TECHNUM, we deliberately chose Masterveil air curtains, and the results were immediately noticeable. The doors were efficiently shielded against cold air infiltration, while heated air was delivered exactly where it was needed: on the work floor and partly inside the trucks.
Temperature differences disappeared, employee comfort increased significantly, and complaints were eliminated. Thanks to this targeted approach, existing heating systems could be completely switched off or significantly reduced, resulting in a stable indoor climate and substantial energy savings.
In Control Year-Round
What initially seemed like a winter solution quickly proved its value in summer too. The air curtain keeps warm outside air from entering the buildings, keeping working conditions pleasant even on hot days.
We also made a deliberate choice to blow a limited amount of conditioned air into the trailers and containers, in both winter and summer. The working climate in and around the loading zone has become more than satisfactory.

Going Further: Heat Pumps
Today, Nike is taking it a step further by combining Masterveil installations with heat pumps. All systems operate at a low-temperature regime, further optimising efficiency and reducing the ecological footprint. The significantly reduced power consumption, compared to a standard air heater or conventional air curtain — is an additional benefit that should not be underestimated.
Not an Accessory, but a Standard
Experience shows that a Masterveil air curtain, with the correct control settings and operating regime, is ideal for achieving and maintaining an optimal climate on the work floor.
